- 19-Dec-06 : I am currently looking for a few beta testers to test the current features. Check out the forum for more information.
- 22-Apr-06 : lightDecks development is still in progress. An alpha release is delayed, but is still coming. I am currently working on shortcut keys and controller support (keyboard, midi controllers and Hercules DJ Console will be fully supported)
- 16-Nov-05 : A forum is online to discuss features you would like to see in lightDecks
- 17-Oct-05 : I just got the Botex DDP-405 4 channel dimmer. Next things to be implemented in lightDecks are light groups so that more functionality with a group of lights will be possible and more features for dimmers such as a virtual shutter.

-Can connect to djDecks through a TCP/IP network for optimal beat-awareness and music prediction
-Supports Pan/Tilt channel (8 bit 1 channel or 16 bit 2 channel precision)
-Supports Color wheel channel (including special functions such as rainbow effect)
-Supports Gobo wheel channel (including special functions such as strobe)
-Supports Shutter channel
-Supports Intensity channel
-Supports separate RGB intensity channels
-Group lights together in a scene, subgroups also possible
-Beat and BPM aware automation for both groups, subgroups and individual lights (movement, color, gobo, shutter and intensity separately automatable)
